Awards presented to Grizzly Basketball team members at Grizzly Sports Banquet

Several members of the Grizzly Basketball team received awards at the Grizzly Sports Banquet May 9 hosted by Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-WP) at the West Plains Civic Center.

Gaige Pitts, Thayer, received the Best Team Player Award.

Dallas Clayton, Auckland, New Zealand, received the Best Defensive Player Award.

Merrick Small, Ipswich, Australia, earned the Academic Excellence Award.

Sterling White III, Chesapeake, Virginia, was named the team's Most Valuable Player.
